About the Role

As a Business Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in end-to-end project management. Your involvement begins from project setup until delivery. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Operations while part of your role involves helping streamline operations processes, improve efficiency, manage a team of remote workers and ensure a high level of delivery. Your main goal is to ensure the timely delivery of completed projects at scale. This role will be perfect for you if you are a swift decision maker, master task delegator and a great communicator.

Your Responsibilities

  • Understand client requirements and set up projects using our company’s platform, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Produce working guidelines, documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations.
  • Train and monitor a team consisting of remote workers and in-house staff.
  • Ensure project objectives and deadlines are met 
  • Drive tasks to completion and maintain schedules.
  • Participate in administrative tasks and project control activities such as detailed quality checks, reporting, record keeping and etc.
  • Continuous process and product improvements.  

You Should Come With

  • Sound understanding of full project lifecycle, Project Management concepts, and the process behind creating successful projects.
  • Attention to detail and process oriented.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and meet deliverables in a timely manner. 
  • Ability to communicate ideas and information effectively in writing and verbally. 
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced professional environment, adaptable and flexible in an ever-changing startup landscape.
  • Results driven and resourceful, attempts different ways to reach a solution if the general route does not work. 
  • Self-driven with a high level of commitment and integrity, coupled with an excellent “can do” working attitude.
  • Tech savvy, excellent internet research and navigation skills, high proficiency with spreadsheets, and typing skills like a pro (min 45 wpm). Basic knowledge of Adobe InDesign is a plus.  
  • Good spoken and written English; fluency in Chinese and/or Bahasa Malaysia and/or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
  • Possess a university degree. Some working experience is a plus but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
